Focus stacking with Helicon Software

Have you ever been frustrated after a photo trip when you find that the rock in the foreground is out of focus and the mountains are sharp? Or you nailed the focus on a field of flowers but the hills in the background are out of focus? Then you shoot with a higher aperture, maybe closed all the way down, and then you find that everything is soft?

There are a several options on the marked that allows Focus Stacking processing. I have tried many of them, Helicon is what I have found to easiest, quickest, and has the best healing or retouching brushes out there.

This month I am going to discuss a little about Focus stacking and demonstrate the software. I hope by the end of the presentation that everyone is motivated to try focus stacking whether with Helicon or something else.
