Review October's assignment "Fall Colors"
November's photo assignment "Get Close"
Our presentation will be by Michael Lee
Michael has used many types of
cameras over the years starting with a Brownie Hawkeye when he was 11 years old
and progressing to 35mm, medium format, and a large format 4x5. In college, he was the university's Fine Art Photographer with my own studio and darkroom. Michael also managed a couple of photography stores where he taught evening classes
in photography.
Michael was also a competition
Ballroom dancer and competed internationally. He is am married to a dancer who
graduated in photography so my kids were doomed to dance and be photographed as
well.
Michael will
go over some techniques he has learned. He will cover using a basic DSLR with a
kit lens up to using a Canon 5D IV with L series lenses. He will cover ballet,
ballroom, modern, jazz and more along with how shooting each is different.
