Darwin was born in Indonesia and spent his younger years in Indonesia until the time he had to leave for college. He worked in Singapore (Fab7, Fab10) after college and lived in Singapore for 15 years before he moved to Boise in 2009 to join Fab4 TD group. After moving to Boise, he started to take photography more seriously and got his first micro4/3 mirrorless camera in 2010. His subject of interest were city skylines, landmarks, architecture in the beginning and slowly added documentaries, public events to his image collection. Last year during the pandemic, he got his first telephoto (100-400mm) lens and has been shooting wildlife and scenery with people using that lens since. He shoots mostly around Boise while continue to learn the art of photography and post processing.

Darwin will discuss the different subjects he shoots and sharing some tips in between. He will also share what he typically uses in his composition to create a different look for his pictures.
